Bountifully bosomed B-movie babe Laura Misch Owens fits the description to a T, as evidenced by her brief part in Mandingo (1975). You can see her full frontal naked in a camera shot that shows her full breasts, furry kitty, and her nipped in waist—the silhouette of an hourglass. Though her role was uncredited in the movie, she left quite a lasting impression, at least on Mr. Skin. She shares her joys again in French Quarter (1977), in a softly sensual scene with another naked woman. Laura grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but headed straight for fun in New Orleans at the age 19, where she was hired as a Bunny at the Playboy Club. She also posed for the magazine itself, and appeared on the cover of the February 1975 issue of Playboy as the Playmate of the Month—no surprise given her ample curves. That appearance led to the role of a prostitute in Hard Times(1975), a crime drama starring Charles Bronson, James Coburn, and Jill Ireland. After 1978, Laura turned her attention to writing, and was a reporter for The Miami Herald, The Rocky Mountain News, and The Denver Post. She’s written two novels under her married name, Laura Watt: Carry Me Back and Yours Truly, The Queen. According to her bio on a book website, she’s also a lifelong Beatles fan; plays the guitar, ukulele, and the banjo with Bluegrass a personal favorite; and owns and runs a yarn shop in Evergreen, Colorado.
